WINE COUNTRY - Domaine Chandon's 4th Annual OysterFest is this Sunday. $60 tickets include entrance for two people along with a dozen oysters and two glasses of sparkling wine. Proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels. [EaterWire]

FOOD TRUCKS - The TomKat Asian street food truck we mentioned will be previewing some of its wares at Sutton Cellars' popular Jug Sunday in the Dogpatch this weekend. As it turns out, former Heaven's Dog sous chef ?Thomas Thong is also behind the truck. Look out for banh mi variations and nicely done noodle and rice dishes. Further updates, here. [SFoodie]

THE MISSION - This Thursday, the weekly Mission Community Market will start doing its thing again on Bartlett and 22nd Streets from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. In addition to the usual organic produce, confirmed vendors include Chaac Mool, Good Foods BBQ, Arizmendi Bakery and Mission Pie. 4505 Meats will join the party next week. COMING ATTRACTIONS - SF's annual Foursquare Day is happening this Saturday with an outdoor BBQ, a live reggae and salsa band, beer and wine booths at the Pacific Catch at 1200 9th Avenue. This year, all proceeds will go straight to the American Red Cross and the Japanese Red Cross. There's also and eBay auction going live tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. and a live raffle at the event.
