Ritual Drops Into Hayes Valley, Local Kitchen Cocktails, More

HAYES VALLEY - Ritual%20Coffee.jpgCheck out the future home of Ritual Coffee at The Proxy Project in this picture here. Today the container was dropped by a 25-ton crane into its future site in Hayes Valley. Further coverage of The Proxy collection of temporary restaurants and retail can be found here. [EaterWire]

COMING ATTRACTIONS - Tickets went on sale today for Outside Lands, happening this year from August 12 to 14 in GG Park. The lineup of chefs and vintners won't be announced until early May, but we do know the VIP Cabanas will have a private entrance and wine selections by Rajat Parr of RN74. [EaterWire]

ABC WIRE - Local Kitchen & Wine Merchant (330 First Street) will be ready to go with that new cocktail menu we mentioned on April 15th. GM Franz Meis has created a list of sippables like The Potrero Hill (St.Germain Elderflower liqueur, gin, lime juice, sliced cucumber) and The Pan Handle (Lillet Blanc, silver tequila, lemon juice, orange bitters). There's also a new late-night menu offered from 10 p.m. onwards with mac and cheese, pizza from the wood-burning oven and more.

SFO - T2 opened today. Feel free to go eat a Tyler Florence chicken even if you don't have a flight. You might like it. [EaterWire]

BEE BUZZ - UrbanBee SF will be installing bee hives on the rooves of Blue Bottle HQ in Oakland, Mission Beach Cafe and Nopa over the weekend. Each business plans to ask its most negligent staff members to help them with the honey harvesting process, as needed. We kid! The Feast says all the new hives will produce honey with an "anise-tinged" flavor, seriously. [The Feast]
