At Last, The Original Joe's Comeback! In North Beach!

Since San Francisco institution Original Joe's fell victim to a heartbreaking fire in 2007, there's been much anticipation and speculation as to where it will resurrect itself. Remember lots of talk about a possible rebirth in the original Taylor Street location and heavy rumors that it would take over the old Joey & Eddie's space in North Beach. Today, finally, Inside Scoop brings some sense of peace on the matter. Original Joe's will move into the expansive corner locale that most recently housed Joe DiMaggio's Steakhouse. Owners, the Duggan family will make a solid effort to rebuild the site to replicate the look and feel of the original Original Joe's. As for the fate of the Tenderloin real estate, we should know more soon.
