Santi Restaurant shuttered after lunch yesterday in Santa Rosa's Fountaingrove Village. According to the Press Dem's blog, "A sign on the front door says the closure is due to a kitchen fire but an employee at Traverso’s, which shares a wall with the restaurant, says there has been no fire." An unnamed tipster says money is the issue. As you may recall, Santi flourished for 10 years in Geyserville before moving to Santa Rosa in April of last year. Chef Liza Hinman jumped ship a few months later and now this. Sad times. [Press Dem]
