Baker & Banker and Chez Spencer Add Brunch, More!

THE BRUNCH BUNCH - Baker & Banker just announced they'll be adding Sunday brunch service on June 5th. Lori Baker will ramp it up in the pastry kitchen to make sweet pastries, French toast bread pudding, cinnamon buns and buttermilk biscuits. Her other half, chef Jeff Banker will oversee all savory items: housemade sausages, Lucky Dog Farm brisket hash and such. Entrees will change seasonally. Sounds like a natural fit. [EaterWire]

THE BRUNCH BUNCH EXTRA - This one flew under the radar a few weeks ago. In late April, Chez Spencer added a Sunday brunch with all kinds of egg dishes and some very French items like foie torchon with pain de campagne. Let us know what you think of it. [EaterWire]

BOOZEWIRE- The diligent folks behind San Francisco Cocktail Week have announced the dates of this year's drink-a-thon: September 19th to 25th. This year they went the extra mile and trademarked the thing, so it will henceforward be known as the World’s First Cocktail Week™. BOOZEWIRE EXTRA!!- Beretta bar manager Ryan Fitzgerald teaches a quick-selling educational cocktail series, and they just announced a few more dates. June 13 will be all about tequila and July 11th is devoted to American whiskey. Classes run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The $85 price tag includes three cocktails and "snacks."
