A few newbies to consider on this gray Monday morning. If we missed something, drop us a note.

1) Alameda: Now you can round out visits to the Hangar One distillery with a trip to Rock Wall Wine Company (2301 Monarch Street), a huge new wine-making facility with a tasting room, bubble dome event space and hot views of the sun setting over the Bay. They just had a grand opening shin dig on Friday and are hosting a "Wine Rodeo" in June. [Tablehopper]

2) Parkside: A new little ramen stop called Ramen Doraku opened last week at 1042 Taraval. It sounds as if the interior is thought-out, the service is chipper and the ten or so ramen options fall in the $8 range. Early comparisons to semi-nearby Saiwaii are already underway. [Yelp]
