A new food truck called Fins on the Hoof will be appearing—with a finned pig logo—at Off the Grid UN Plaza today from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The chef behind it is Todd Middleton, who runs his own catering, private cheffing and cooking class op called Saveurs. The name is obviously a creative play on "surf and turf" and the menu will have things like a fried oyster B.L.T., Chimay-braised short rib sandwich, smoked haddock chowder with deviled Virginia ham croutons and mushroom bisque for vegetarians.
