THE MISSION - Bissap Baobab will close at 2323 Mission Street on June 1 to merge with Bollyhood Cafe on 19th Street. The name of the new restaurant and music venue will be Bissap Baobab and the Mosaic Diaspora. As of now, they are still working out the menu, but it may be a series of African pop-ups. They're having a "soft launch" of the new incarnation this Sunday after Carnaval. [EaterWire]
NORTH BEACH - Washington Square Park's new Bottle Cap should be opening in the middle of June. Remember a Bourbon and Branch-y cocktail list and American "indgredient driven" food were details shared earlier. [Tablehopper]
FIDI - A crepe place from Slow Club's Erin Rooney and former Yield Wine bar employee Céline Guillou is moving into the alley spot where Pasta Bene was. One of the partners is a French man who owns a creperie in Brittany. [Tablehopper]
CASTRO - The Capri Ristorante shutter on Market Street is happening on Monday. The owners Francisco Cifuentes and chef Matthew Schuster got their liquor license for new spot, Canela, so changes could start up as soon as next week. [EaterWire, Yelp]
GLEN PARK - Eddie Maser, owner of both Toast Eatery locations on Polk St. and in Noe, is opening a coffee shop, inventively called Cup in June. They'll have Blue Bottle. Here's more. [Tablehopper]
INNER SUNSET - Darla's is long gone and Patxi's Pizza is moving in. That'll make four Patxi's total in San Francisco. [ISSF]
THE OUTER RICHMOND - The Fresh & Easy on Clement Street will officially open on June 22. There are also a lot of other new Fresh & Easys now all over the Bay. Trader Joe's is probably feeling a little pain. [RB]
CONCORD - The old Burger Road in the Clayton Valley Shopping Center will be replaced by a Five Guys. And "soon" at that. [CCB]
