In addition to the pending farewell to Ti Couz, a few other shutters have descended of late. Lets take a moment to review, shall we?

NOE VALLEY - Late last year, this Craigslist ad you see below went up for the space that housed frozen yogurt/chocolate/gelato shop Tuttimelon/Belgano. It appears the identity crisis has come to a head and now the owners are "shutting down and clearing out". Who will be taking advantage of all that POTENTIAL? TBD. [EaterWire, NVSF]

THE MISSION - The Ace Cafe at Mission and 14th closed on April 27th. Rumor has it that the landlord raised the rent so high that the owners have been forced to seek a new location. This tweet makes it sound like they're rearing to come back asap. [Yelp, Twitter, BARF]

SOMA UPDATE - GrubStreet reports Moya Ethiopian restaurant had to close due to the huge three alarm fire that hit Folsom Street between 1040 and 1044 last night. Very sad news for one of our city's few mom-and-pop authentic Ethiopian joints. [GrubStreet]
