LOWER HAIGHT - Wings Wings, the take-out operation from a former Little Skillet's manager, will be opening Wednesday. The menu includes eight different kinds of chicken wings, Southern picnic-themed sides and creme brulee from the Creme Brulee Cart. Here's the website. [UrbanDaddy]
SOMA - Prospect has a new "secret" bar menu, neatly typed up on actual menu cards for all to see. There's really nothing secret about it, but that doesn't make steamed mussels with kim chi and sausage sound any less delightful. Well, maybe just a little less. [EaterWire, Facebook]
OAKLAND - According to The Feast, Camino will serve three-course steak dinners on Mondays throughout the "summer." [The Feast]
EVENTS - Elisabeth Prueitt of Tartine is in the process of opening a school for children with motor disorders and she needs your help. The impetus? Prueitt's daughter with Tartine co-owner Chad Robertson suffers with cerebral palsy. The first benefit will be a dinner and silent auction held at Bar Tartine on Monday June 27th. There are all sorts of great items available, like a dinner for two at Chez Panisse. Tickets and more info here. [The Feast, ISSF]
THE LUNCH BUNCH - The Roe lunch with the big pig sandwich starts on Wednesday. There will also be a new happy hour menu, offering sliders, calamari, nachos and the like. More here. [EaterWire]
