Weird Fish Breathes Again, Tomorrow

New, 1 comment

Things were uncertain at Weird Fish for a little while there. The place has been closed since early May when owner Tim Holt officially moved on to devote more time and energy to his other project, Roshambo Farms. But tomorrow, the pint-size Mission restaurant will open again for business under the watchful eye of now-sole owner Peter Hood. The interior has been refurbished with lots of hipstery things befitting the Weird Fish way: a new DJ booth, a "projection room" and funky collage boxes by Romanowski. Menu-wise, new chef Gavin Baird has changed-up the list of seasonal side dishes. Many of them feature ingredients sourced from Roshambo, so we know Holt and Hood are still on good terms. Groupies can rest assured "well-loved Weird Fish favorites" will still be offered. The realunch celebration happens Tuesday night from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Do drop a line about all this newness if you attend.
