Ryan Scott's Brunch Nears, A Local Brewery Raises $$, More!

THE MISSION - In April, news came that Bruno's had brought on the Ryan Scott to start up a weekend-only brunch operation called Brunch Drunk Love. Now Scott says it's going to be more of restaurant than a pop-up, per say; and he's planning to start the weekend of July 16th with service from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. They're building out the website now. Expect the cocktail program to be beefy—because Scott loves getting a little drunk at brunch. He's serious about that. [EaterWire]

TBD - SFoodie has the story (and a video) about Local Brewing Co., a new three barrel brewery and taproom hoping to open in the Mission, Potrero Hill or the Dogpatch. WESTFIELD - Tutti Frutti fro-yo stop will be opening its second SF location on the bottom level of the Westfield Centre, says Fro-Yo Girl. She doesn't sound too excited about it though. [Fro-Yo Girl]
