Le Bordeaux (524 Union St.), the San Francisco venture from Frenchman Sylvain Castet, opened yesterday. The menu includes all manner of traditional Burgundian gastronomy: fried camembert, meat fondue and duck in multiple guises. Lunch is either a $29 or $39 prix fixe and, as mentioned, there is a bottomless brunch and dinner buffet on the weekends. It's called a “buffet à volonté” in France and it's not like the usual American all-you-can-eat affair. [ISSF, EaterWire]
