Those planning to stop by Thomas Keller's soon to launch Addendum to-go operation will notice these signs of construction whilst grabbing the fried chicken and brisket. As you can see, Ad Hoc is working on expanding its dining room right now, creating room for an additional 18 seats. There's also some work being done in the kitchen, so it's appropriately scaled when the remodel is completed. As of now, general manager Nick Dedier estimates they'll be finished with the construction work in early 2012. The restaurant will likely need to close down for a bit of time in winter to accomodate the changes, but the exact dates for that aren't yet known. Look out for a time frame as details solidify. In the meantime, it'll be business as usual at Ad Hoc. And remember to hit up the tip jar with early thoughts on the new Addendum after it starts on Thursday.
