Muka%20Logo.jpgSince NoPa's Candybar opened back in '08, the dessert cafe trend hasn't exactly been on an upswing. So news that Jean-Luc Kayigire is having a go at it beneath the Alliance Française comes as a bit of a surprise. The biz formerly known as Moussy's has become an "underground wine and dessert lounge." Sweets come from SoMa's well-liked Patisserie Phillipe; there are some recherché beers in the house; and, of course, all the intrigue that comes with a subterranean eatery. Still Moussy's one holdover, a burger prepared one of three different ways, may be the joint's saving grace. Early reports here please.
