Bagel%20on%20Tin%20Foil.jpgRebounding from the sudden closure of New York's iconic H & H Bagels, J Weekly notes SoMa’s Crossroads Café "is still getting shipments of H&H bagels nearly every morning." Also Burlingame-based, "all organic" Spot Bagels will debut its "crispy crust[s] and...very chewy center[s]" at Bi-Rite Market this Thursday, as they begin rolling out at Real Foods, both Berkeley Bowls and other local markets and cafes this week. J Weekly goes on: "The texture of the Spot Bagels I tried was classic New York, Chicago or Detroit...I'm predicting that bagel purists are really going to like them." [EaterWire, J Weekly]
