Mikealicious journeys to Santa Rosa for Josh Silvers recreation of his Syrah restaurant as the more causal Petite Syrah. Even though the outdoor area reminds him of eating in a mall, the food is great. There's a "truly brilliant" beet salad; when it comes to proteins "all the combinations have interesting twists;" and the "staff excels." Tying it together: "Portions are smaller, but they're still generous, and the dishes are more focused and satisfying...It's a place that's not only reinvented; it's improved." 3 stars [Chron]
