NOW OPEN - The debatably healthy Japanese "snack titan" Calbee is now open for business at the Westfield Center. Signore Lucchesi has a description of the "Sticks," "Snaps," and "Veggies" on offer. [ISSF]

SWITCHEROOS - Moving into the Dogpatch space that housed DIY wine warehouse Crushpad is DIY wine warehouse Dogpatch WineWorks. Former Crushpad people are involved and the only real difference in concept is that there will be a tasting room. Naturally, Crushpad founder Michael Brill doesn't sound thrilled about it. THE SHUTTER - Mission "working class hangout" Carlos Club has had its liquor license suspended and it won't be coming back. Apparently Carlos has seen "Illegal soliciting" and bartendresses drinking on the job for some time now. Not cool with the ABC. [Mission Loc@l]

POP-UPS - Lady Hop brings word of this new pop-up dinner project at Specchio. It's called Reform Club ; the chef team comes from Ragazza, Slanted Door and Bar Bambino; and they're doing a preview on July 17th. Check out the menu here. [Tablehopper]

TRUFFLE WIRE - Mushroom King is down to its last few pounds of awesome-smelling summer truffles. So get on that. [@MushroomKingSF]
