Food & Wine has a new piece featuring some Alice Waters recipes with peaches, "the most delicious food" as far as she's concerned. The opener has some fun Alice memory snippets from new release Forty Years of Chez Panisse, like the the time she tried to show the president "the Alice way" by slipping him a peach as he left a fund-raiser: "I was sure if I fed the president a perfect peach...it would bring him to a new understanding of the politics of food."
