Live Music, Coming Soon To A Cafe Near You

accordian.jpgYesterday the Planning Commission unanimously approved the Supes proposal to significantly reduce the price of place of entertainment permits for restaurants and cafes in San Francisco. The Supes' prior "war on fun" treated someone plucking a sitar while people dine in the same way as a DJ at a rave. If the new measure is passed by the Board of Supervisors, restaurants and cafes that used to have to pay $2000 for an entertainment permit will only have to pay $380. Almost there.
