Did Clement Street need another banh mi sandwich shop? Probably, seeing as how it offers smoky vegetable, Buddha tofu and oh yeah, crispy duck in addition to the typical grilled pork and meatball. The duck sandwich is breaded and fried, served on baguette with plum sauce and sesame coleslaw for $6. There's also pho, Saigon noodles, rice plates and exotic shakes in flavors like avocado and durian. This brand spanking new spot replaced Indonesian stalwart Java Restaurant. Early raves for the watermelon smoothie, five spice chicken and of course, free wi-fi. Have you been? Let us know or, as always, post a comment below.
