Christian Science Monitor writer Chuck Cohen "has the chance" to join Michael Bauer on one of his visits to La Terrasse, which he relegated to one-star-ville in July. Bauer shares some friendly insight with Cohen on his reviewing process. He says "usually a waiter or hostess will recognize me," but "not being anonymous frees me up and I know they're doing the best they can do." Cohen elaborates: "he would prefer visiting a new restaurant twice anonymously and once as Michael Bauer to see if there is any difference." Then one final clue! "I sit at tables most people would reject." [CSM]
