Bernalwood has the listing for Pizza Express and the residential unit above it on Cortland Ave. A commenter says that the restaurant is for sale because the owner, who also owned nearby Little Nepal, passed away. Although the joint may very well remain devoted to pizza under the new owner, with this up-for-grabs and and the former Maggie Mudd slot still wide open down the street, it's officially time for change in a notoriously tough to operate stretch of the city.
