OUTER SUNSET - The Java Beach Cafe family's new restaurant Beachside is opening tomorrow after a lengthy build out. The space's crowning glory is its new La Marzocco espresso machine, which co-owner Pat Maguire says "cost more than my first car." A menu of organic breakfast (fried egg sandwich, bacon waffles), lunch/dinner (fried chicken sandwich, pulled pork sliders) and desserts (homemade cookies, Straus soft serve) will be offered. With 25 seats plus some outdoor Adirondack chairs for "sidewalk louging," it sounds like a promising addition to the nabe. [OBB, Tablehopper]
