THE SHUTTER - Pastry chef William Werner has been forced to close his well-liked, year-old Tell Tale Preserve Company due to a failed partnership with the mysterious Whisk Group. Their last local cafe deliveries and Ferry Plaza farmers market appearances will take place this weekend. As SFoodie pointed out earlier this week, the current shadiness of Whisk calls the likelihood of their other in-the-works projects, Brasserie Lille and the return of Aqua into question.
