City Lights is throwing a one-night only dinner and celebration for the recent Mission Street Food book release next Wednesday at Cookhouse (a gorgeous space upstairs over Vesuvio). You could call it a tease... or a chance to assuage that Mission Street Food-shaped hole left since the grand dame of pop-up dinners retired. Bringing back MSF-style courses like "Cinnamon Toast Crunch" (a dessert of bruleed pan de mie in sweetened milk) is reason enough to snag a ticket to the 3-course meal.
