Kaygetsu.jpgInside Scoop passes on the surprising news that Menlo Park Japanese food destination Kaygetsu is closing because the owners, the Sakumas, plan to retire. The 7-year-old restaurant's traditional style kaiseki menu was consistently given high marks from the Chronicle, Zagat and other food sites, and is often credited with kicking off a new awareness of Japanese cuisine in the Bay Area. Scoop has a look at its final menu, which will be offered until they close around mid-October. [ISSF]
