After falling prey to a mysterious bee sniper in July of last year, Hayes Valley Farm was told in May that they need to vacate their current location on Laguna St. by February for an impending condo buildout. So it's been a bit rough in the early going. But mastermind Jay Rosenberg remains optimistic about the future. "He envisions...hundreds of farms throughout The City." The farm is expected to decide on its new location in the next few weeks, and the Mayor’s Office's Kelly Pretzer seems hopeful it will find that new home somewhere within San Francisco's boundaries.
