Last year the California ABC started enforcing an antiquated Prohibition Era law, preventing bartenders from creating house-infused drinks or spirits. They raided Bourbon & Branch. The message? Sangria and fun things like jalapeno-infused tequila were strictly off limits. Yesterday Gov. Jerry Brown decided—much to the delight of SF's drinkers and drink-servers—to make infusion legal, and San Francisco Cocktail Week just got a little extra punch. [KMJ]
