Yesterday Three Twins Organic Ice Cream owner Neal Gottlieb said he has to close up shop for months due to the 4-alarm fire that struck the Lower Haight earlier this week. Today, Haighteration passes on news that the nearby Walgreen's will also be closed for at least 8 months, and a fundraiser event will be held at Peacock Lounge this coming Tuesday to benefit those harmed or displaced by the fire.
