Bauerceratops revisits Locavore to see what new (pedigreed) chef Jonathan Merritt has done with the place, and "the food bears little resemblance to what it was in January." Now it's "the type of food you'd eat every day at home if you or someone you lived with was a fabulous cook." He likes the fried duck wings ("marvelous"), the tomato salad and "the biggest surprise was his cheeseburger:" it "might not surpass the burger at Marlowe, but it comes close." There are a few negatives: service "still could use work" and the chorizo app "left me scratching my head," but overall "Locavore has flourished." 2.5 stars. [Chron]
