Ryan Scott's New Fast-Casual Spot: Please & Thank You

Brunch Drunk Love pioneer and Top Chef Healthy Showdown winner Ryan Scott has, at last, revealed the details of his forthcoming West Portal fast-casual cafe. It's going to be called Please & Thank You, and it sounds like he's gearing up to open several outposts around the city eventually. Hinged on "9 pre-made unique salads sold by the scoop, half pint, pint or quart," the menu will also include build-your-own salads with some unexpected ingredients like crispy onions and candied cashews, and soups and sandwiches similar to what he offered back in the day at Myth Cafe.

Scott mentioned a BLT with tomato jam, cheddar and truffle aioli, and an apple and parsnip bisque will be among the early offerings. The "first" West Portal outpost of Please & Thank You should open in the middle of February. Also look out for more 3-Sum Eats mobile food than ever before this month, as Scott debuts his second food truck at Off the Grid.
