With the dawn of the new year, minimum wage in San Francisco has risen from $9.92 an hour to $10.24 an hour. Not only is that the highest rate in the country, but it also makes us the first city in the U.S. to require an hourly minimum wage that's over $10. If you see prices go up on any restaurant menus around town, this is probably one of the reasons why. [SFBT]
