Chefs Nicole Krasinski and Stuart Brioza opened their new venture State Bird Provisions to the public on New Year's Eve with an adventurous American menu, all served via colorful dim sum carts they designed themselves. If you didn't visit over the long holiday weekend, you can take a look around inside at the design by Charles Hemminger Associates right now. There's an open kitchen lined with subway tiles, concrete walls sweeping to skylights above, and school-ish touches like auditorium chairs and trays for the menu items. The restaurant is now open from 6 p.m. to midnight, Wednesday through Monday, and you can make reservations through UrbanSpoon, right here. Kindly leave early thoughts in the comments, or send them over the EaterWire .
