CAFE GRATITUDE WIRE — The continuing open-and-shut saga that is Cafe Gratitude has been an action-packed one to document. AWARDS SEASON — Richard Rosendale, executive chef of Greenbrier in West Virginia, has won the Bocuse d'Or USA finals. HAMBURGER WIRE — A few luscious new ways to clog up those old arteries are now on the menu. Over at American Eatery (1 Ferry Building), there's a burger topped with poutine, the cheese curd and french fry dish that's a Canadian specialty, while Maverick (3316 17th Street) is surfacing its famed butter burger (bacon pepper marmalade, gruyere, onion ring, jalapeño mayo, Acme bun) for $13 on the brunch menu starting this weekend.
