Michelin Announces 2013 SF Bib Gourmand Picks

One week before the annual Michelin Guide drops on October 24 and the company has announced this year's list of Bib Gourmand picks for restaurants that serve two courses and one glass of wine for under $40 before tax and tip and are personally frequented by those shadowy anonymous Michelin inspectors.

70 restaurants across the greater Bay Area have made the cut this year (down from 77 last year) and represent 21 different types of cuisine in all. Notable omissions this year that were included last year are Bottega, Delarosa, Incanto, Picán, and SPQR, while new additions include Brick + Bottle, Comal, Donato Enoteca, Gajalee, Marlowe, Old Mandarin Islamic, and Redd Wood.
