Brasserie S&P's bar gurus, Priscilla Young and Nicole Kosta, continue to develop their love affair with gin: six of the Brasserie's ten new fall-inspired cocktails feature the versatile spirit as the base ingredient, including local favorites like Distillery 209 and Old World Spirits' Rusty Blade Gin. Highlights from the autumnal list include Anjou Antoinette aka "David's" Pear Martini, made with Bombay Sapphire, pear eau de vie, Tuaca, and creme de menthe, and the reimagined classic Aged Gin & Tonic (pictured), featuring the aforementioned Rusty Blade with saffron tonic water. (A few whiskey, rum, and tequila-based cocktails round out the list for those gin-weary drinkers.)
Between these new boozy treats, the recently added cocktail program at Ad Hoc, and the new fortified wine-based drink list at 15 Romolo, Bay Area drinkers should have plenty of libations to hydrate them until the holidays. [Serious Eats, EaterWire]
