BEERWIRE — Chassis is one of two beer-serving robots that made an appearance at a recent Red Triangle Beer happy hour event at Wired Magazine headquarters. Homie is three and a half feet tall and weighs 56 pounds when drained, a novelty that would probably be appreciated at the next SF Beer Week in February. [EaterWire]

CHEF SHUFFLES — Manfred Wrembel is the new executive chef at Oakland's Plum (2214 Broadway). Wrembel previously was sous chef at Incanto (1550 Church) for over six years and cooked with Chris Cosentino in the winning finale of Top Chef Masters. [ISSF]

COMING ATTRACTIONS — Tibetan Aid Project's annual Taste and Tribute takes place at 5 p.m. on November 16 at Four Seasons Hotel (757 Market) with a dream team of 22 fine chefs preparing different menus live in front of each table. Laurent Manrique explains that bringing the cooking into the dining room is a furtherance of emotional sharing as practiced in Buddhism. [SFoodie]

NORTH BAY — Petaluma's 101 North Brewing Company (1304 Scott) is now open and has released Heroine IPA. The brewery is open to the public on Fridays and a tour may be requested by calling (707) 778-8384. [EaterWire]
