A quick update on the opening day for Hakkasan, the "luxurious," and "sensuous," very-high-end Cantonese/dim sum restaurant headed to One Kearny. The powers that be have announced the grand opening will be on November 28, with soft-opening quietness beginning sooner, on November 19. Unemployed front- and back-of-house types should note the slew of job openings on Craigslist. Remember the Hakkasan branches in London and (recently) New York boast one Michelin star each, and they are going for two here.
