1) Market Street: JapaCurry's izakaya spinoff Roku is hoping to open on October 16th at the earliest. Owner Jay Hamada still has to finish up the menu, the signage and some other key things. [EaterWire]

2) The Mission: The Little Chihuahua outpost headed to the former Urban Burger space on Valencia Street also appears to be getting close, as the license just transferred over to the new owners. [EaterWire]

4) Noe Valley: "All systems are go" for the DAVIDsTEA gunning for 24th Street, leading into an October 27 opening. [NoeValleySF]

5) North Beach: A new cafe and retail "pantry" called Beacon Coffee & Pantry will be opening around October 15th at 805 Columbus. They'll be selling Sightglass coffee, sweet and savory baked goods, and more in a design-forward atmosphere. [Tablehopper]

6) Upper Haight: A falafel-serving spot called Sunrise Deli (1671 Haight) has taken over the old Zip Zap Hair with a plan to open "soon." [Uppercasing]
