SWITCHEROOS — After a dramatic personnel dismissal earlier this week, Mau (665 Valencia) has abandoned the pan-Asian menu. It's now a Vietnamese place with pretty much the same menu as sister restaurant Tin. [ISSF]

THE MISSION — Soy milk is no longer available at Four Barrel Coffee (375 Valencia). They're never ever getting back together. [SFoodie]

COMING ATTRACTIONS — The 15th anniversary of Jardinière (300 Grove) on November 12 doubles as a benefit for the "No Kid Hungry" campaign from Share Our Strength. A cocktail party features sous chef alumni (Peter Armelino, Elizabeth Binder, Michael Hung, Deepak Kaul, Dylan Montano, and Phil Wang), followed by a dinner also cooked by alumni (Richard Reddington, Paul Lemieux, Robbie Lewis, and Craig Patzer alongside Traci Des Jardins and Morgan Mueller). Secure tickets ($125-25,000) right this way. [EaterWire]

FOODLANTHROPY — Spark's annual fundraiser slash cavity threatening evening Sugar Rush takes place at 7:30 p.m. on November 15 at Sir Francis Drake Hotel (450 Powell) featuring bites from participants like Chez Panisse, Boulevard, Humphry Slocombe, and Delfina. Tickets ($75-125) are available here. [EaterWire]
