Curry Up Now is opening its second brick and mortar location in Palo Alto on the 19th of November. Vets and champions of the food truck scene, owners Akash and Rana Kapoor opened their first permanent location in San Mateo this spring, and they'll use the Palo Alto location to unleash even more "subtle and not so subtle" changes to the menu. Increased kitchen space and a sit-down environment will enable more non-portable things like thali platters, and street food-inspired items, like papdi chaat, and aloo gobi for vegetarians, while lamb and pork belly will become permanent protein options.
Lovers of the cult-followed chicken tikka masala burrito: it may be time to branch out. The new restaurant seats 42 inside and about 12 or so on a front patio. Find Palo Alto hours, and a food porn-tastic photo gallery of other menu newcomers below.
Hours at Curry Up Now Palo Alto shall be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday; 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
