Today Eater learns that you will be able to shove Martin Yan dumplings into your face "just in time for the holidays." So maybe there is a Santa. The team of "master noodle pullers" over at M.Y. China pass on word that the ambitious Westfield Dome-covered Chinese restaurant from Yan and the men of Koi Palace will open for lunch on December 3rd. Dinner service will begin on December 8th.
The 16 regional cuisines of China will be divvied up in a menu of three sections: hand-pulled noodles (lo-mein, "hand-cut Daochow style stir-fried noodles," and more, pulled by this guy!), dim sum (the aforementioned dumplings, etc.) and wok-fired entrées, like this Kung Pao Crab. There will also be a separate bar menu with things like Bang Bang Chicken. Full menus to come as soon as they are finalized, and rest assured the Dungeness crab will show up often.
