Jesse Hirsch subjects himself to the "ritualized religious experience" that is Tekka (537 Balboa Street) sushi in the Inner Richmond. The sashimi platter is "gorgeous and generous," but he can't tell if the theatrics of its "strict," "notorious" setting alter the experience.
