The Cro Cafe Debuts in Temescal Alley

The Cro Cafe is the latest addition to Oakland's Temescal Alley. Located behind Pizzaiolo (5008 Telegraph), the kiosk houses a vintage, propane-powered lever machine that assists creator Luigi Oldani in making espresso and other coffee drinks. This is a passion project for the Oldani Art Studio, a metal fabricating shop, and since Oldani's clients include Prizefighter and Sightglass Coffee, he uses Sightglass for The Cro. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Monday. Not a bad new alley neighbor for Doughnut Dolly.
