Attention chocolate-making voyeurs, Dandelion Chocolate, the new transparent chocolate factory and cafe from Plaxo founders Cameron Ring and Todd Masonis, is just about ready to roll on Valencia Street. On November 14, retail sales of the full new line of beautifully wrapped "bean-to-bar" chocolates will begin. The chocolate making process will also be on full-display in the on-site factory. This morning, Dandelion personell share further news that former Elisabeth Daniel/Fifth Floor/Bistro Elan pastry chef Phil Ogiela has joined the team. His goodies will fill the pastry case when the cafe arm of Dandelion opens in the next few weeks. As of next week, opening hours will be Wednesday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m., and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Now do take a first look around at the state-of-the-art build-out of Valencia Street's one-and-only chocolate factory.
