THE MISSION — The second location of American Grilled Cheese Kitchen (2400 Harrison) has soft opened in the former Cafe Gratitude space. The menu is mostly the same as in South Park, but they'll probably get a chuckle if someone asks for an "I Am Grilled Cheese" — at least in these first few days [ISSF]

DOGPATCH — The addition of La Fromagerie (2425 Third St.) to the Dogpatch neighborhood has helped to add to a little gourmet zone in the making. Though it's in a warehouse in the American Industrial Center, customers still have the boutique nicety of being able to sample cheese before buying. [SFoodie]
