Out in the Avenues, a "coming soon" sign for a prospective Chinese restaurant called Maomao's Kitchen hung on the front of 2555 Judah for almost two years. Turns out it didn't even get to make it to the "grand opening, grand closing" stage. The sign is now down and replaced with a for sale sign, and newspapers are still covering the windows.
