SOUTH BAY — After recently maintaining a Michelin two-star rating, Palo Alto's Baumé (201 S. California) has joined the ranks of the towering courses club, with a new option for a 14-course tasting joining the nine-course choice. There's also a new cheese cart with selections cut tableside. With these additions come the subtraction of lunch service, which was previously only on Fridays. [EaterWire]

SWITCHEROOS — Richmond's Boilerhouse is going to magically transform into Assemble (1414 Harbour Way). Richard Mazzera from Cesar is helming the change of this former power plant into a Parisian-style cafe with outdoor seating. [ISSF]

BOOZEWIRE — Buffalo LoGrasso's new cocktail menu is starting to emerge at Rich Table (199 Gough). There are drinks with cheeky names such as the Strawbarely Legal (Pisco, strawberry gomme, chocolate mint, albumen froth, and seltzer) and a dessert-inspired cocktail section starts tonight.
