Yoshi's San Francisco filed for bankruptcy on November 27, two days before they were supposed to start repaying their $7.2 million loan from the city. Apparently the club and restaurant turned its first profit in 2010, but they still spent most of 2011 and 2012 in the red. They're making this move to restructure debts, and the club PR director had this to say, when asked if the club would close: "God, no -- no, no no." [SF Weekly]
